Well, discussions about the salary would much better be left to the end, after the offer of employment is made. Early discussions are often considered as a device used by employers to examine the applicants’ tendencies toward the subject. So, release the subject of your mind during the interview even if the employer itself addressed it during that particular moment. Besides, your research into the company should have provided you with some sense of the typical salary range for the position, but you should negotiate later if you think that your position deserves more than the actual range.
